
Brian Ngokwe is a current PhD student at the Melbourne Dental School, University of Melbourne. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with honors in his home country of Cameroon and completed a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences in Dentistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduating summa cum laude.
Passionate about research, Brian focuses on translating clinical challenges into research-driven solutions aimed at improving patient care and wellbeing. He is actively involved in several local and international scientific associations as well as civil society organizations. His scholarly contributions include numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters spanning clinical, basic, and community research.
Brian was a member of the 2023 cohort of the Student Leadership in Global Oral Health (SLGOH) program. Following his participation, he took on a mentorship role and became a member of the Alliance for Oral Health Across Borders (AOHAB) Alumni Research Committee and Fundraising Committee. He currently serves as an intern for AOHAB.
