
Lincoln Abraham Tentena is a dental surgeon from Kampala Uganda where he is also currently practicing. He is pursuing his Master of Public Health from Makerere University which knowledge he hopes to use to inaugurate, collaborate and strengthen oral health systems especially for the marginalized communities. Lincoln graduated from the SLGOH course with the inaugural cohort and has since remained an active member of the alumni in various capacities with the most recent being the Program Development Committee chair. He is interested in sustainability, knowledge translation and increased access in oral health practice and research. In addition to practicing dentistry, he provides consultancy services on various research projects, he is a contributing columnist to The Daily Monitor where he writes about oral health in layman’s language and is also an advocate for equitable oral health access.
