Dr Shiamaa Al Mashhadani is a Dental public Health specialist at the Dubai Academic Health Corporation, Dubai , United Arab Emirates. She also holds the position of senior specialist registrar. She has formally been holding the role of initiative leader of the Oral and Hental health Strategy 2020 -2025 for Dubai and has helped in the development of the programs, guidelines and projects related to the strategy. She is currently holding the position of member of the Oral Health and Diseases National Committee in UAE.
Dr Shiamaa has been involved in developing and implementation of several projects related to improving oral health of the population from school health projects, to projects related to Non communicable diseases such as diabetes and Thalassemia. She has developed many programs to facilitating access to dental care through training school nurses and medical health care providers who help to spread the awareness of oral health.
She is currently working on her PHD on improving dental care access for children with disabilities.
