Dr. Maureen Perry is a Professor and Director of the Center for Advanced Oral Health at A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. She is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry. She completed a 3-year hospital residency focused on treating patients with medically complex conditions, behavioral health issues, developmental disabilities, and geriatric patients. Dr. Perry completed her Masters of public administration at Long Island University and recently completed a Masters in dental education at the University of the Pacific. Dr. Perry is a fellow of the Council of Dentistry for People with Disabilities and is a diplomate of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry. She is a past president of the Special Care Dentistry Association and has served as the U.S. council member for the International Association for Disability & Oral Health.
Dr. Perry has had a 25-year career both practicing and teaching special care; lecturing and publishing at the national and international level. In addition, she has served as a subject matter expert in special care dentistry for the US Navy (USNS Comfort Hospital Ship), the Hamad HealthCare Corporation of Qatar, and the Republic of Ireland.
