Joe Anne Hart
Chief Legislative Officer, Florida Dental Association
Joe Anne Hart has been with the Florida Dental Association since January 2005. She is currently the Chief Legislative Officer for the FDA.
Joe Anne was born and raised in South Florida and attended Florida State University where she majored in English.
Before joining the FDA, Joe Anne worked as the lead health care lobbyist for the Florida Association of Counties. She worked there for 8 years and established great working relationships with many different state agencies including the Agency for Health Care Administration, the Department of Health, the Department of Elder Affairs and the Department of Children and Family Services. Joe Anne also lobbied for county issues on the federal level in Washington, D.C., as needed.
In her spare time, Joe Anne works as a fitness instructor in Tallahassee and enjoys running half marathons annually. She has an 18-year old son, Campbell, who is a gifted artist who loves to sketch and draw, and is an active distance runner (cross country and track).
Cathy Jameson
Jameson Management, Inc.
Cathy Jameson is the founder of Jameson Management, an international dental management, marketing and hygiene coaching firm. The Jameson Method of Management, developed by Cathy, offers proven management and marketing systems for helping organizations improve their workflow and efficiency in a positive, forward thinking culture. Cathy earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and then a Master’s Degree in psychology from Goddard College. She received her doctorate from Walden University.
Cathy has been named one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry as well as being the recipient of the second Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Association of Dental Office Managers in 2014. Cathy has been named a Leader in CE by Dentistry Today multiple times, most recently in 2021. She considers herself a life- long learner and encourages those around her to be in a constant state of study, growth and action. She is the author of several books, including her latest title, the third edition of Collect What You Produce.
